Adfam

Our Dream

The national charity organisation Adfam is devoted to changing the lives of families affected by drugs and alcohol. At Adfam we want anyone affected by a family members addiction to drugs or alcohol to be able to benefit from healthy relationships as well as feel part of a loving and supportive family whilst enjoying mental and physical wellbeing.

Alcohol and drug abuse can endanger and eventually ruin family relations and harmony.

Our Goal

We engage family members and caregivers collective participation support to change this course of direction.

What We Value

We are glad to hear family members and frontline workers. We understand that people who are facing difficulties often have answers. So, we use compassion and evidence to inform, encourage and empower persons influenced by a loved one's substance abuse as well as the workers who help them. So that both groups can help themselves, their peers, communities and clients, we build skills, confidence, pathways and resources.

We're Driven By What Works

Our aim is to improve health and happiness decisions in family set up, work place and social gatherings. This is the secret behind our dynamic approach to drug and alcohol abuse. Our work is driven by our companions, supporters and associates and what they actually told us. In order to achieve this we take evidences in all aspects, appreciate the genuine experiences and formal research proves.

We're Not Kidding About Our Main Goal

Our overall objective is driven by commitment and partnering with organisations which share similar sentiments towards addiction rehabilitation. We recognise that injustice and discrimination are the biggest threats towards individual and family recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. We advocate for just society of individuals with equal rights and opportunities regardless of their drug or alcohol orientation to make a contribution using individual potential towards nation building activities through collective participation.
